This large apartment project was built in two stages, the first being three storey section of the build with a total of thirty five apartments, with a mixture of one and two bedroom apartments. The ground floor of this stage is made up of five commercial units and secured car parks and apartment storerooms. The second stage is made up of eight floors with the total number of apartments finishing at one hundred and seven. DCI has installed all internal wall framing, insulation and linings to a very high specification because of the desire to make the acoustics between apartments of the highest standard. There are also a number of specialist “Fire Rated” walls and bulkheads. The AFS concrete walls are framed with furring channel with Aircell insulation and lined with the specified plasterboard. The suspended ceilings and bulkheads are also to a very high specification with the high acoustic and thermal requirements. This project is one of the larger project DCI has carried out. The average labour numbers on site was thirty, but this peaked at around fifty. Strong sales have proved this project to be of the highest standard.
