This modern three-storey commercial building is located on the corner of Ord Street and Havelock Street. The building has many featured suspended ceilings, including the very striking ground floor entry ceilings, with lighting troughs.
DCI’s work on the project included:
- Installing all of the specialised fire rated ceilings, passageways and external walls. The ceilings are a suspended 1200 x 600 exposed tree bar system with an acoustic lay in ceilings panel, giving a good acoustic performance, and clean, functional appearance.
- Framing and lining the external soffit linings with a Cement Fibre sheeting with express joints to follow the clean lines look the Architect was after.
The building was occupied quickly and has proven to be a vibrant heart of West Perth.
