The Cut Golf Course
Project Overview: Urelastic 103 Type 2 Waterproofing to Retaining Walls
Specifications:
Distinctive Membranes Systems installed Universal Polymers UR103 Type 2 Reinforced Waterproof Membrane to the walls and footings of the basement level of the new club house at the Cut Golf Course south of Mandurah.
The footings and wall joints are primed and then sealed with a single part polyurethane sealant and covered with a single coat of UR103 Type 2. The wall floor joint was then matted with Tietex non woven polyester fabric, the matting was placed over the joint already Covered by the UR103 Type 2 and applied thoroughly wetting the fabric totally.
A second coat of 103 Type 2 is then applied. After the footing joints are done we start by priming the walls and applying the first coat of UR 103 Type 2 to the walls, the same procedure is then followed with the reinforcing fabric being applied and then another coat of membrane. After drying and before backfilling we then installed core flute protection board over the membrane to stop any penetrations occurring whilst the dirt was being replaced and later compacted.
