Project Location: 58 Kings Park Road, West Perth WA
Project Overview: Metrowest Shopping Centre Building Upgrades
The Metrowest Project is for the national data centre for Fujitsu in Malaga and is the first of its kind on this scale in Australia. The successful completion of this project puts Metrowest on the international radar as a competent, efficient provider in this very specialized market.
A major issue on the Metrowest Project was the height of the walls and ceilings because of the requirement to have computer room flooring around 1m off the ground to allow the many thousands of kilometers of data cabling required to service the data centre. Also the amount of mechanical trade equipment in the ceiling space have made this project far from the norm.
Specifications:
This project contains over 1000m2 of fire rated walls and ceilings, partitions and specialized suspended acoustic ceiling panels and specialized acoustic insulation to achieve the high demands of the specifications required by the Fujitsu group.
