STEVEN FIELD: Manager

After just 5 months in this current role with Distinctive Building Products (DBP), Steve has proven his ability to communicate the necessary duties required to aid our business’ improvement, and ongoing development.

Steve’s professional and approachable manner has aided him in this management role, as he continually motivates his team ensuring quality of products & customer service throughout all stages of a transaction. Steve’s experience as a Customer Service Supervisor for Canada’s largest importer of industrial fasteners, has equipped him with the necessary industry knowledge & skills to allow for responsible planning, execution and development of our building products division.

Steve is a hands on leader and is currently completing OHS Business Management studies, and will be further pursuing a professional designation in Project Management. For 15 years, Steve successfully supervised one of the largest logistics regional divisions where he gained valuable experience in inventory and supply chain management. His sound communication and superior leadership skills see him manage and motivate DBP staff in the warehouse to follow his methods in providing high levels of customer service whilst keeping on top of the organisation  and day to day operations of the company.
